Long time gone!

Well hello old friends! I have been SUPER busy..I have teamed up with my neighboring store owner and we have moved to a HUGE building!! Named  'The Trafik Jam' !!

We now offer over 30 different vendors from our general area to shop from. We also have a cute little cafe area to have coffee, tea, snacks and other FATTENING items!!

If you are ever in the area PLEASE stop by and check us out...find out why I have been so quiet on here :(

On a personal note..it RAINED so hard here last night...I was up until prob 2..230am....I HATE STORMS....so it was quite hard for me to sleep. I half expected for the pool to be placed elsewhere when I awoke..but it remained with us :D .. little does it know its coming down this year..which I am saddened about..but this last fall A STORM ripped the back portion up and ins. doesn't like to cover pools :( ..An after the fact tidbit we learned.

Busy days

Goodness...it has been awhile since I have been on..AGAIN...lol..Was VERY busy at my store..filling custom orders and trying to keep the shelves filled! A WONDERFUL problem to deal with and am VERY thankful.

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday. Ours was filled with friends, family and love, however I am so glad it is over and life is back to it's norm.

I saw my beautiful grandchildren over the holiday...they are getting quite big..and so very smart! My Beautiful daughter and her ORNERY husband are doing a grand job with them.

Not too much going on aside from running the store and avoiding the germs, lol..they seem to be lurking around every corner!

I have been craving the usage of my paints but have fought it off due to the still somewhat empty shelves. I hope to overcome one or the other by this weekend..Ill try to keep you posted which one wins :D

Well I need to get back to creating so I shall sign off for now and hope to visit again SOON! Have a peaceful week.

Too long a waitin'

Wow..it has been awhile.....how is everyone? I hope you all had a safe and sugar filled Halloween!! 


November 1st...I figured I would start this month off right, by tumbling some stones...I have Agates, Amethyst, Jasper and more...and can not wait for them to be finished!!!! 


I have had a busy and productive week...which started with my mom flying in to surprise (me) and my brother John on his birthday....so THAT WAS WONDERFUL, and ended with getting my son from Ohio to spend his two wks off with us!!....PERFECT WEEK!....


Now I should prob get off here and continue to make up for time lost while enjoying my beautiful mothers time!!!!! 


I am using a lot of the !!!!s today..lol

What a week!

What a lonnng weekend...i'm so tired..but trying to be productive :D Thats all one CAN do right? 

Me and the family saw The Other Guys this weekend....Ill give it one thumb up...I'm NOT a HUGE Will fan...But I ADORE Mark Wahlberg so I was ok in seeing this. However..The movie was a bit of a disappointment. There were some funny parts...even VERY funny parts...but Mark..as much as it hurts to say this...was NOT the best supporting actor. He SHOULD NOT do comedy..unless his shirt is off then who really cares what he does..heeehee

Mark wasnt the hot guy I usually see him as ... instead he was this fluffy haired, uptight, over exaggerated bad actor. HUGE disappointment..as I had said earlier....and Will...well Will was Will.....




I also went to my FIRST Vball game of the season....my shop has kind of consumed my time...which I guess it should...if I'm going to give it my all.....it was great seeing my friends..I miss them....the ones I havent seen for awhile......and Im going to break away tonight to attend a home party. so really trying to squeeze a million things int his week....ok only a few..but it does feel like a million...lolol...it will all be worth it though!




OK Im off to finish this really long and beautiful necklace for the Fall season!!

The non official opening

Well I started my day off very early today ... and unfortunately I ended my evening prior .. just a few hours before that..lol..4 hours sleep and a long long day.  It all worked out pretty good though. 


I had so many last minute things to do before opening my shop for a trial run...and actually completed all of them...It was SO WORTH losing sleep time!!!


I had a great response from my customers!! They seemed to enjoy my designs as much as I do..which is always a plus. My shop has a few things left for me to tweak before I call ends....I still have yet to find a way (truck) to pick up the last dresser....but after that..I think all will be wonderful~ :D


After my long and friend filled day...my plans of going to two bon fires was altered by my youngest wanting some mommy time that I have kept from her, due to getting the shop up and ready. We decided to see a flick at the not so local theater...The Other Guys.....funny in spots..REALLY funny in some spots but had an unmissable coating of stupid throughout the movie. I didnt choose the movie..really didnt care to see it...but I thought..Hell even if it sucks it has Mark Walhberg in it..and that my friends is a HUGE plus. HOWEVER...Mark should not do comedy..he kind of sucked at it..and to top it off he has only one 'walk away' scene worth mentioning...and not at all a nice shot of his bum .. so DOUBLE BUMMER!! 


Now Im home..contemplating some bedtime...maybe sleep in....ahh that sounds marvelous!! In fact I do believe I will take myself up on that idea!!!

A delay in opening :(

Well today was the day for my 'Official' opening...it has been postponed until next Friday..however I will be open for a test run tomorrow. :)

I cannot for the life of me find acceptance in my fake wall, separating the work area and the viewing area! Frustration....

On a great note..I think Im pretty much done in one of my corners...as far as decoration that is....Ill post a pic soon..like today soon...lol

Now back my dream .... I DO have deadlines to miss...haha
